Before I Go

hi ppl. here is a note for all of you before i go for my orientation stayover tomorrow! i spent very long trying to pack everything together and my bag is super heavy. i am also very tired now. tomorrow gonna wake up very early in the morning to send my sister to work before my dad brings me to school. waking up early is so tiring, yet i still have to look energetic for orientation activities! aww. okay that ends my whining. haha!

i wish i wish i wish, i will have a good og and i can make close friends in the o week! all my beloveds, (including my daddy, mummy and sister if they even see this), take care! i promise i'll take care of myself too. :D

OG

yay! i finally have an OG now! my ogl called me at 11 plus yesterday but i was out without my handphone. so my sister helped me to write down some stuff that i need to know.

okay let's see. my og name is called JAMES BOND. and my house name is ENGLIO and it's represented by BLUE colour! so far so good.

i'll be away from home on 30 jul - 2 aug and 7 aug - 8aug. it's not very long. but i am so going to miss my family and all of you! need to start packing soon.

Freshman Briefing

alright, before i carry on writing on the rest of the post, i need to thank ah dan for accompanying me to the freshman briefing today. and i thought i am going to show my deepest appreciation by... not posting your unglam photo! hehe.

well, so the briefing started all the way from the morning till late afternoon. we had some time to spare in between so ah dan brought me around nus for sightseeing. we walked, and walked, and walked. we also tried one of the stalls in the science canteen. eh i would say not very appealing. i shall try something else next time.

omg school activities going to start real soon! i want more time! >.<

Board Games @ Pitshop

well well, after the good news, i shouldnt forget to blog about my day out with my jc kakies too. we went to this shop called pitshop @ rafflesplace to play board games.

the first game we played was recommended by the guy who manned the shop. i dont exactly remember the name of the game, but it has something to do with numbers and potions of different colours. a pretty interesting game, but you will see me counting with my fingers always because my brain just fail to process simple addition like what is seven plus five.

the next game we played was the game of life. i usually love being the banker for such games. but for the first time, i dread being one in that game. the banker is like super busy. and i always make the spinner spoil because i am claimed too violent? so i pay like crazy to have it fixed. T.T

then we carried on to play Ticket to Ride. basically you just try to build train tracks from one place to another and accumulate points accordingly to win the game. and our last game was a test of our reaction speed. basically, the fastest person wins. and i lose like hell. so i am the most slow tard person >.<

BUT I AM STILL VERY HAPPY :D

i just checked my email, and i saw this email titled 'Selection Results for Management (Technology) second major offered by School of Business‏'. i opened the email and this is what i saw.

'Dear Science students,
We are pleased to inform you that your application for the Second Major in Management (Technology) is ...'

then i read again from the start:

'Dear Science students,
We are pleased to inform you that your application for the Second Major in Management (Technology) is successful.'

OMG! i kept reading over and over again to make sure i got it right. YAYY!!

One More Week

i woke up today feeling that it was just 8am in the morning as i looked out of the window. the weather was (and still is) just right after a fine drizzle and the sky aint too bright. but it's actually 12 noon already. ahhh.

in around a week's time more, uni related activities will start pouring in. there's a freshman briefing on 25 jul, a registration to go to on 29 jul and from 30 jul to 8 aug it's orientation week. for 9 months of no-school life, i am going to be a student again soon! start mugging (yes i said mugging for real lol), start making friends, start familiarising with the campus, start everything new!

i dont know if i am looking forward to all that or if i am secretly wishing for more time. but i guess i am doing both. :D

Secret Pal Gift

at the orientation week briefing some time ago, the in-charge told us to prepare a gift for a special him or her, our secret pal. the budget for each person is around SGD$5. after thinking hard of what to get the person, i have finally got a nice pick! something i find useful and keep-able. i'm thinking of writing something in there but i haven yet.

i'm listening to an english track now. it's quite old already but i think it's really nice.

It's A Long Day

as the title suggest, today has been a long day for me. at morning-noon time, we went to support bh and yl's first dance performance in their school. their weeks of hardwork eventually paid off! dont their stance look impressive enough?

and i almost lost my wallet in their school! omg. but luckily i found it back intact. to those who have helped me in one way or another to search for it, i am truly grateful to all of you! ♥

at evening time, we went to celebrate zh's early birthday. we made some beautiful things together, and we got him a SUPER comfortable and cool gift!

ahhh! the flu is so horrible, it's killing me! i'm just going to rest now.

I Feel Cheated

alright, i just came back from cwp after dinner at ichiban with my jc kakies. all was fine until we go and have our first neoprint taking together. there were 2 machines, so we just randomly moved into one of them. then we saw oh, three dollars only! so cheap and happily thought we may have got a good deal. B-U-T omg the machine sucks man! the result was disastrous. i feel so cheated of my 3 dollars so i stood in front of the neoprint machine and kept scolding it.

so unwilling as i am to be satisfied with the neoprint, we went to the next machine to try again! this time round, it's 5 bucks. but the machine is definitely much better. just that the printing quality is bad. you may ask, how bad can it be? see below if you are not convinced.

but never mind, we are still beautiful :D

oh, just now, i was taking bus home. then this bus driver didnt stop at my station! i know i didnt press the bell but, it's opposite mrt station? he should have expected alot of people will want to board as well as alight the bus right? ahh. so i need to walk a lil longer to get home >.<

I Am Sick?

okay, i guess i better start updating my blog again before the blog is gg-ed.

i couldnt believe how long i slept yesterday. i skipped dinner and slept at 8.30pm last night, woke up at 10.30pm this morning. a count on the fingers, it's 14 hours! oh my, my stomach is so hungry now, seriously.

bh just called to say their dance performance tomorrow is cancelled. will be organising an outing to east coast park instead to kill the time. i think it's gonna be fun! but going in the afternoon to be baked by the sun. ahh the sun can kill me for real! still, i think i should go. because.. (read below)

yesterday i heard over the radio that there is this chronic disease called 'Oxygen Deficiency Symptom' (or whatever you call it) this illness is caused by prolong staying indoors which has poor air circulation. people suffering from this illness will feel stuffyness in your chest, poor appetite, breathlessness, poor quality of sleep, low blood pressure problems, yada yada yada (okay i cant remember everything) and at the later stage, it will lead to more serious effects. omg! i think i am suffering from this! then the dj said the way to cure it is to go out more often to breathe the fresh air lol! okay so i need to cure myself.

'Spring' Cleaning

this weekend was kind of springcleaning day for my family. my sister wanted to revamp her room, so she went on a rubbish throwing spree. all the teddy bears, tissues that she stored for years which are no longer usable, the tonnes of clothes in her wardrobe which she bought on impulse, and many many more. all are going to be given or thrown away, so she can have her NEW look. even the computer that was left intact in her room for years was transported to my room! how effective is she at reducing the rubbish in her room but increasing them in ours! you wont believe how little thought she gave into throwing things away like they are free. it's such a waste of money! so just now cheap-queen went to be gurung guni, picking up those clothes that i can wear from her big bags of clothes waiting to be thrown away. i did clear some of my junks too, but not exactly alot.

omg i really think these teddies are real pathetic. look at the one with the leg sticking out. i feel so sad for them.
