8am lectures are so torturing. i literally was dozing off in the lecture most of the time. did make sure i know what he is talking about before i start dozing off though. then i'll force myself awake after a short while to check again. the cycle just kept continuing until 10.

i am half way through one of the tutorials today! i shall keep to my promise :D

just came back from bh's house to help him prepare for his test tml. hopefully he can remember what he have learnt and be more cautious. it's good to see that he is working hard. and binglin was really nice to come down and send me home after that! he also passed me something interesting. i'm so touched! he's really a super good person. i would have said this a million times already, but still, thank you! :D

A Promise To Myself

i cant do anything now. i kept rubbing my eyes because i just cant concentrate. i dont even know what i am thinking now, but the mind seems so saturated already.

i promise i will do myself the favour of trying to finish whatever i need to. just not today. not today. because i'm granted off day :D

took train back home from school today for the first time! also first time not alone in the journey after 2 weeks of school haha! it's super packed at the bus stop during peak hours. i saw 3 buses of 963 just pass by the bus stop because the bus is already completely filled. it's so scary! i'm really worried that those ppl near the bus steps will be hit by the door, if it does open in the first place though.

unexpectedly, i saw ah dan today in fos. and that moment was really quite hilarious. i called out to her and we just kept laughing after that for quite some time. what an coincidence! we do share more affinity than you think, ah dan! lol

beautiful things will never enough, so are these! there was a larger crowd today. it drizzled half way while the fireworks are on but they're still very nice. had a better view this time, and everything almost felt so reachable!

Ovaltine

for the first time of my life today, i drank ovaltine! sounds quite pathetic eh. lol to think i have always been eating ovaltine biscuits last time but i haven drank ovaltine before. haha! a new experience with a familiar taste. it does taste like milo with chocolate.

and, i slept in the morning lecture today! i feel so bad because the lecturer is actually very clear in explaining the concept but i just cant help it. so i buried my head for a short nap of 15 minutes. i hope this wont become the norm in future haha.

I Am Sleepy

i need to wake up in around, another 5 hours time! time is really running up for me to sleep so i gonna blog fast. 8am lectures are so torturing, but i have no choice.

this morning, the first thing that i realise when i woke up is, my phone is gone. my sister took both my phone and her phone with her by mistake! fortunately daddy's workplace is near school, so he passed it back to me before lecture. then i hid something in the lt for binglin to find. but it's like in a super obvious place i think because i couldnt find any other spots. and he went for a haircut. i didnt get to see it in person but he looks cool in the photo.

buddies gathering tonight, but yl couldnt make it. he seems really apologetic about it and we totally empathise with him. dont feel bad about it, okay. anyway, tutorial balloting results are out. appears that my timetable is decent enough, though i may have 4 hours break here and there during some weeks. ahh! week 3 pls dont come!

alright i am off to bed before it's too late!

I Am Smiling

just finish watching the table tennis girls olympic games. i seriously think the girls did well to get a silver though they lost in the finals. and yes, the panda mascot is really adorable :D

anyway, i am so happy because i realise my favourite festival is coming in a month's time! my sister dont understand why i like it so much. neither do i. but i just feel happy! it's like something i have been waiting for every year, just like my birthday.

School School School

tutorial balloting starts from tml to next mon, and i have yet to decide on my tutorial and lab sessions! ahH need to make up my mind real soon. just realise that i miss reading an email by the CZ1102 lecturer that monday lecture will not be shifted to thurs. phew, luckily i looked through the webmail again.

i am really fortunate to have known binglin as my sp in sow! he's very different from most of the other guys. thanks to him, i dont have to worry much because he'll be there. blur me wouldnt have been able to print my notes in school today without his help too. together with KK, they make up the most funny ppl i've met in nus, the pair that always bring me endless laughter! :D

Disappointment

maybe after i type finish this i might feel there is actually no need to be so disappointed over it, but i am still going to carry on anyway because it's just over me.

how could you do that! reprimand him for every smallest possible eyesore to you and deplete his savings just to satisfy your material wants, without sparing a thought for him. yes, he might not be able to give you everything that you want. but is that the only thing you are concerned about to be your fitting bf? ahhH! i am so disappointed.

you dont treat your bf as an ATM if you think for him;

since the battery is going die soon, i thought i might as well use the remaining battery life to write something since i am lazy to charge it!

lectures in school for these 2 days have been hard to concentrate for me. most of the time i just space out half way when the lecturer is talking and have totally no idea what i missed out. tutorial and labs are not in the timetable yet so school is like quite short.

hmm just as i am typing this, binglin walked pass lvl 6 library! and it does seem that he is not feeling well. >.<

A Tiring Yet Wonderful Experience

yay! finally a photo i am in the centre of the group hehe

sow has finally come to an end! now that 2 weeks are over so fast, school will start soon! that's like very boring, but no choice. >.<>

anyway, our og won the best cheer team award! it's quite a surprise. we didnt expect to get anything with all the slacking haha! next comes the finale which was quite cool. dimmed lights and you pretty much just shake all the stress away by chilling out with the loud music till late night.

today was rag day at nus src. as much as the weather is unbearably warm and we have to be under the sun all day to cheer on the rag team, i think it's worth it since it is an event of such importance to science fac. everyone tried their best to bring glory back to their fac. our fac clinched the best float design award but eventually biz fac and kent ridge hall are the big winners. it is seriously so saddening to see our seniors tearing at the end of it all. dont worry, we'll keep trying until we get what belongs to us back!

and and, i really wanna thank binglin for the gift too!

Break Camp

hey hey ppl, it's break camp already, so i am back to my home sweet home! i dont have photos to share in sow2008 as yet because there are og seniors taking them for us and our schedule is very packed. so pls bear with all the writing, and writing and only writing for this long blog post.

DAY 1 in the afternoon, it was battle stations for us so it's quite tiring and warm. later on in the evening, we all learnt mass dance. it's actually an indian couple dance which is quite easy and entertaining in some sense. it was continued by fear factor at night. at one of the stations which i went to, i was blindfolded and they asked to guess what is it on my hands. and guess what, they are mealworms and they bite T.T

at 12 midnight, it was time for sp interaction. we were all blindfolded and brought to our sp. so i stood, and stood and stood, for quite some time, then i was told my sp is not able to make it today so i randomly joined another pair of SP, and be their lightbulb. lol!

DAY 2 we played water games that day! it's actually very cooling. after that, we had mass dance again. guess what, the guy that taught us the mass dance had very close resemblance with JJ lin. lol. and he can dance real well.

then it's time for SP interaction again. and my sp still wasnt here! just as i thought history is going to repeat, it was a different experience that night. one of the seniors talked to me to help me kill time. so he is sort of like my sp for that night, just that it's a lil special. he is not blindfolded but i am >.< but i eventually get to see him at the end of our conversation though because he is not my real sp. his name is marc! and he's a very nice guy.

DAY 3 in the morning, we tried bidding for the first time. and it's really killing for some modules because they are far too overcrowded which drove the bidding points up. so we had to like last minute bid any other modules which we can and we think is worth the points. in the end i only bid for 4 modules which i successfully secured them all. phew. 1 more module to bid tomorrow, so hopefully the situation change for the better! then it was amazing race around nus for the afternoon, and it is far more tiring than any of the other days because we walked around the campus back and forth for many times >.<

following next is the SP night and we can finally see our SP. we are suppose to sit in tables of 4 which means there will be 2 pairs of SP per table. i thought my SP wont come already since he is not here for both days already, but he did! and coincidentally, his friend, KK, is the SP of the girl beside me, so in the end we 4 sat together. another friend of theirs, CK, came along so we just talk and play around together. they are very nice people and REAL hilarious. i didnt do much of the talking because i am too busy laughing at the things they say.

after dinner, it was A Walk To Remember, a more crude name of this will be fright night! omg anyone who knows me will know that i am quite easily frightened. so i am quite freaked out but fortunately binglin (my sp) tried his best to cover me as much as possible. both of us eventually survive the walk, and indeed it's memorable lol. he initially wanted to go in to scare the ghost but i think he couldnt because he had to take care of me. so i actually felt quite bad.

DAY 4 it was day out at sentosa. we played battle stations by the shore and later on it was war game. they are all so FUN! our house englio won the war game la, so cool. i didnt think that i am going to be dunked into the water but i actually was, thanks to those guys in my og. lol! and after break camp, we had og dinner at vivo. tanning for all these days is no joke. i think i am chaotah-ed >.<

oh not to forget, we realise we are featured on stomp! because some people are pissed that we are blocking some walk way and claimed we are being very inconsiderate. (action no.1)

whee i am so happy i did made many friends that rock in sow! and next week is gonna be a series of activities also before school starts. jyjy everyone!
