Night Orchard

for those who find that the blogger template is always screw up, try pressing ctrl-f5. i chanced upon this solution on other's blog and i realise it actually works haha! so just sharing here so that more know how to solve this problem also. (but i still cant upload photos normally argh..)

happy meal has a new series of toys that centre around the doraemon theme! LOL. as much as i am reluctant to eat one given its portion and price, i still bought the Time Machine. i just find it so hilarious to see it moving, so i kept laughing while playing with it. okay fine it might sound childish but who cares! better than being trapped by love or math LOL.

went out with huizhen yesterday and she got a new hair cut. seriously i think we look so alike now with the fringe and stuff. lol! even the hairstylist thought we are sisters when i went to look for her at the shop. she's still not very used to it, or rather i should say she is still quite irritated by the fringe, but i think it looks good on her eh. the price is a lil on the high end though, all because she saw the signboard wrongly.

it was so much fun last night, walking around ion orchard hoping to find some space for food. but one thing is for sure, there's so much delicious looking and no doubt expensive jap food at the basement of ion orchard eh! even the people in the stalls are japanese which adds on to the authenticity. if i have the money next time, i'll try one of every lol.

strolling across the straight of orchard road on a saturday night, it felt so surreal. along the way we saw this lady providing portrait drawing service for this uncle. so interesting! aww wanted to try it so much but still cant bear to part with the money so we just moved on.

our last stop of the night was at centrepoint where we have ice cream as dessert at haagen daz. there's a live performance just behind the shop so it's like music for our ears while dining. it just felt so relaxing and cool. here's some photo of the day..

A Tour Around BTC

today, i had a project meeting at nus bukit timah campus, and it's for the first time ever since i enter nus that i realise, the bus that i sometimes see around BTC actually transports you to there. i always thought it's some intermediate bus service of B and C, HAHA! so embarrassingg! call myself a year 2 student somemore..

okay thats beside the point. most importantly, the campus is sooooo nice! such super romantic scenary and it's like a totally different paradise over there. i used to think that the people studying there are kind of pathetic since they are stranded all alone in a different campus separated from most of the faculties, but guess what? now i realise we are the pitiful ones. for goodness sake, how can i be decluded for so long lol. i'm definitely going to explore and find my own relax spot there when i am free :D

Mochi Fish

omg! i realise i am such a fish hunter.. as in can you imagine, i'm so fascinated by the mochi fish i found in PS lol. but it's really nice, i mean it.

i was talking to the lady who made me the mochi fish (and she's super friendly and polite), so she told me that the shop has been there for 2 years already. oh man so much for visiting PS so often and i didnt even realise at this corner in front of carrefour the shop even existed. so people, next time if you ever visit PS, walk around B2 and you'll be pleasantly surprised :D

according to her, the ingredients were imported directly from japan, and to sell it at such a cost they are not making much profit, so they are consider closing the shop down! wah.. so sad can you imagine i just found something i like so much and it might be closing down soon. it's okay, it's better than not finding it in the first place yeah? wow even i am amazed by my own optimism LOL. took a few photo of the mochi fish but well blogger aint working for me eh, i cant upload a thing with the screwed up template now. will upload the photos when it's working fine.

anyway fri we finally manage to have an outing together with my jc kakies! getting to see them again after so long feels great, and the feeling of talking to them is still as comfortable as ever. i cant stand silence so i think i am always talking haha, lonely me must have been too sick of keeping quiet. we went for dinner and then it's ice cream madness for me! strawberry ice cream taste so good i dont mind abandoning the other flavours. whee! and i realise that it's quite easy to see a child-like side of me. just bring me some good food i like lol!

daiso is such a popular place in PS. i am starting to wonder whether the economy is so bad that people are crazy after those 2 dollars temptations. but i think i might be just one of them since i also bought some stuff from there lol. nearly half eaten away by danni while waiting for hz to arrive, and fancy eating junk food when down with sore throat. opps i almost forgot i didnt bring you herbal tea as promised so i shouldnt be saying this. sorry sorry lol

week 3 is coming. tutorials are coming. stress is coming. nooooo! how can i end off with something so demoralising haha. okay i didnt say anything. we'll pull through whatever comes. :D

Happy Birthday Addie!

lol, now that i'm already near the end of week 2, i realise i am supposed to blog about updates on my first week of school a week ago. i'm so sorry about that! actually nothing much, mundane school work, and i can definitely feel the stress all coming back to me. trying hard not to let the work snowball but i am seriously sooo lazy i dont understand why.

this is going to be a super random post, so try not to get confused while reading.. just writing whatever comes to my mind lol

as for today, i'm supposed to meet up with joyce to have a lil reunion lunch with her, but well i was late so ended up i told her i'll arrange another time to eat with her again. and seriously, i didnt know subway at 1 plus could have such a good business. the queue is so long! if lr wasnt queueing up before i reach, i dont think i can have a decent lunch. but i am used to it anyway..

baked cookies for addie as his birthday gift and some others to share with my pals, and am glad that they're well received as usual! nic, buy me marshmellow i'll try experimenting on your sticky cookies lol! but maybe not so soon..

i'm listening to this nice song again and again, which i feel brings hope and simple happiness to me. shall post the youtube link up in facebook later for those who might want to know hear it as well.

I Want My Saturday!

i've always looked forward to every friday because it is the last day before i enjoy my weekend. but looks like saturday morning will never be the same again. i wont be able to cuddle my pillow and sleep like no tomorrow, but instead painfully sitting in the lt listening to some lecture which will last for 3 hours.. how can this happen to me! T.T

okay.. will update more about the first week of school tml, gotta rush to catch every blink of sleep i can have now, see ya!

Investment

let's see what i have set out to do today. to watch a video lecture, checked. to attempt ma2222 tutorial, skip. to read an article, skip again. to go see for myself what lr is planning to do, checked.

went to cityhall today and lr's gonna pay for his investments. sounds kind of cool isnt it? i dont exactly know what investment he is doing (and i am starting to wonder whether he knows what he is doing), but yeah he's quite a daredevil, unlike the risk adverse me. whats wrong with playing safe and leaving room for the unexpected, right? lol..

keep getting lost in wherever we want to go, but always manage to find the place somehow. first time i thought i am going to be trapped inside the lift but phew, we can still get out. and, being in the vicinity, getting to eat my fish cant make me feel any happier. (grins)

meteor shower peaks tonight, was anyone lucky enough to see it? not for me, because i wasnt guarding by the window looking out for them, but completing the first task i checked in the list. argh.. i dont care, i'm still going to make my wish and hope it will come true. i'm not too greedy, really. i'm only going to make 1 so i wont deprive others of their wishes.

National Day

lol, blogger having more and more stunts eh. everytime i log in and post something a different problem surfaces.. now even the design template of blogger is gone haha! (oh the problem is gone when i refresh) the good thing is the format bar is now, at the moment i am typing this post, present. who knows one day it might disappear again.

haha after a long complain about blogger again, i almost forget the purpose of writing this blog post. i just wanted to say..

happy 44th birthday, singapore! :D

and, school is starting on tues.. booo, holidays is over! oh man this semester to come is such a disaster, so many projects and presentations, even saturday lectures! i really have to work very hard it seems to get me through, so please work hard! worst, i wont have ks to take biz modules with me already.. T.T

on a side note, i really wish my hair to grow faster, especially after they have gone under the hands of this seemingly unexperienced hairdresser in this rundown salon i randomly picked from the street. (PS: L cube, dont worry you're not the only shagua head now) well, i really have to kick the bad habit of visiting hairdressers to have a change of mood.

First Time(s)

okay looks like my format bar likes to play hide and seek with me.. so apparently i cant find it again! so sickening.. not like i have photos to upload though but it's just disappointing that blogger is so screwed!

well well, last night i had dinner with jon at hmm okay i dont even remember the name of the place(okay i do now, i think it's called dan ryan's grill or something). all in all, it's a nice place with good ambience and superb customer service! actually before dinner we went to tour the newly opened shopping centre Ion. most of the shops are not open yet but miraculously there are MANY people walking around. so actually what we did there was just to exercise walking up and down escalators lol! so unfruitful..

after dinner, we went to another place to buy macarons,this shop by the name of Canele. it's my first time trying them and yeah i think they are really good! instant sugar rush but the after taste is not sweet at all! haha.. it's like quite amazing for me. will definitely patronise the shop again, provided i remember the way there lol!

then jon drove me to logan's house to "visit" his pets. haha sound so bad eh? going to another person's house not to pay him a visit but to see his pets. but yeah, when we reached his place, he is completely drunk! okay i heard from jon he was drinking just now at some place but i didnt expect him to be feeling so uncomfortable. fortunately there are friends around who are still not that drunk to take care of him.. i hope he is fine by now :D

and and, ashley and brone are so cute! i mean they are the names of logan's dogs. not sure what breed but they have curly hair and when they lie down, they can easily pass off as a comfortable pillow HAHA! they are very obedient too, even if they bark it's because they are happy! they shake their tails alot and like to lick ppl lol.

aww how i hope i have dogs too! i simply adore them :D
